The return of Furby
So I have been seeing furby commercials and they are scaring me. So for my Development assignment when we were asked to do a drawing of a conflict I had a furby chasing a guy. I like the drawing of the furby more so I thought I would post it enjoy the creepiness of the furby.

Common Ground: Film Festival Premeire
Next week is the premire of Common Ground in the film festival scene. We are starting with the Fandana Fest at Huntington University. I'm going to be a projectionist for the festival since that is my college.
Check it out it's from August 10-11th.
Fandana Fest Website
Recently I got this in my email.
I'm pretty excited about that.
There are also seven more festivals I'm waiting to hear back from. So more then.

Common Ground: Wrap Up
So we are on our final week of production. Friday at 10 is our deadline, so here is hoping. Right now the reel has been turned over to Matt Nelson for sound. I'm working on making smoke, which was the only thing I've animated this semester. We took our set down today also. This is such a sad, yet happy feeling. I'll see all my props and sets again in a year when i set them up for senior gallery.
Our wrap up todo list
Mike's poster pose
tear down, Nelson is actually helping not just photo bombing

Animating Smoke
No longer my home (Matt Nelson's set is in the front and the one in back is Johan Leev's)

Illustration Friday: Heights
Time for a Illustration Friday and Common Ground Mashup.
I'm working on the poster of my film and started splicing the pan up shot together to get one image. Ironically this tied into Common Ground so here it is the heights of the Common Ground city.

So we just wrapped on our final shot for Common Ground earlier today. Well I guess it's yesterday now since it is past midnight now. I've kinda fallen back on the blog post lately since I've been focusing on getting these last few shots done. So I'll be adding the photos from the past couple of shots.

Illustration Friday : Puzzled
Stained Glass puzzle piece.
Did you know that there is nanotechnology involved with stained glass. The elements that are put in with the glass are finely crushed into to different sizes of nano particles to create different colors. What is so puzzling is that this was a popular art form in the medieval times before we knew anything about nano particles.
I just recently found out about the mix brush tool in photoshop and wanted to get some practice with this piece.
